About The Position

Technical Support / Item Specialist Join a dynamic, engineering‑focused team making an impact across PAF Spare Parts, Procurement, and Sub‑Assembly operations. Valmet is seeking a Technical Support / Item Specialist who will play a critical role in delivering technical, engineering, and item‑related support across our PAF Spare Parts business. This position provides hands‑on support to sales, procurement, sub‑assembly, and consumables teams, while also managing item generation and enrichment within our Product Data Management (PDM) and LN ERP systems. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in engineered drawings, Bills of Material (BOMs), and technical systems navigation, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment with diverse and variable responsibilities. In this role, you will use Valmet-supported CAD applications, PDM tools, and ERP platforms to perform both basic and advanced engineering functions. You will support the spare parts business with your technical knowledge of product identification, manufacturing issues, and materials. You will also collaborate closely with sub‑assembly teams to resolve engineering or manufacturing variances, ensuring timely and accurate solutions that support on time delivery to customers. Responsibilities include generating and enriching item data within PDM and LN systems and navigating Valmet’s contact center and multi‑channel communication tools.
