Specifically, we are looking for a TS/SCI cleared Technical Writer - Journeyman to support this mission in Tampa, Florida . Responsibilities: As a Technical Writer - Journeyman you will provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order. Your responsibilities include: Supports documentation activities under supervision, assisting with formatting, editing, and coordination with technical teams. Gains exposure to TO deliverables, document creation tools, and audience-specific writing. Draft and edit all program-level management deliverables for the TO, including the PMP, MSRs, and other core program management documentation, ensuring they are clear, coherent, and adhere to Government standards. Ensure that content from individual PRDs is accurately and consistently integrated into overarching program reports and plans, maintaining a unified message, and assisting in structuring and editing the written PRDs themselves for clarity and completeness. Curate and maintain the document library within the Task Order portal, ensuring all uploaded management-related deliverables (like MSRs and PMPs) are properly formatted, version-controlled, and accessible. Executes documentation tasks with moderate autonomy, coordinating with technical teams and customer representatives to produce accurate , audience-tailored materials that support TO deliverables and lifecycle processes. Develops and maintains technical and non-technical documentation for TO deliverables. Collaborates with developers and SMEs to document specifications, features, and operations. Designs and formats documents using approved software and templates. Writes and edits user guides, manuals, and help systems. Interviews technical personnel to ensure accuracy and completeness. Adjusts tone and structure for diverse audiences. Collaborates with graphic designers to create diagrams and charts. Ensures documentation aligns with TO standards and Section F requirements. Utilize the following TO Management & Financial Tracking Tools ( Task Order portal, Microsoft Power Platform [Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate], G Invoicing API, ASSIST portal integration, variance analysis dashboards); Scheduling & Planning Tools (MS Project, GFP management modules, WBS tracking systems); Workflow & Tracking Tools (ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk, automated RIP/CTP/TAR workflows); Documentation & Knowledge Management Tools (SharePoint libraries, Confluence, Microsoft Search, lessons learned databases, video library repositories); Audit & Compliance Tools (Archer GRC, internal audit portals, Excel/SharePoint audit templates, configuration management database with version control); Reporting & Analytics Tools (Power BI with R/Python integration, Tableau, predictive analytics engines, trend analysis dashboards); Collaboration & Communication Tools (Teams, role based access via Azure AD, mobile access via Power Apps) Utilize the following Role-Specific Tools: Confluence, SharePoint, Style Guide Repository, Version Control

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Technical Writer or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the C CMD leve l
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a BS/BA or 3 years’ experience wi t h an MS/MA o r 0 years’ experience with a PhD. or 9 years' without a degree or 7 years' experience with AS/AA
  • A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level
  • US citizenship is

Nice To Haves

  • DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.
