A Day in the Life As a Technician II, you will support daily extrusion operations that help deliver life-changing medical technologies. You’ll troubleshoot equipment, perform testing, collaborate with engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of production systems, GMP, and medical device manufacturing.
Experience with tooling, fixtures, and inventory of spares.
Understanding of PM procedures, 5S, Lean principles, and EHS requirements.
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with plastics processing, extrusion, or compounding.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with bench-top test equipment and measurement systems (English/Metric).
Ability to work overtime; limited travel for training.
Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot extrusion processes and equipment to support daily production.
Operate extrusion line equipment; perform mechanical/dimensional tests and record data.
Support validation of new products and processes with engineering teams.
Train operators on extrusion line operation and best practices.
Perform mechanical/electromechanical tasks, including burn room duties.
Construct, calibrate, test, and maintain equipment and components.
Work from schematics, drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
Conduct calibration and alignment checks; perform adjustments and replacements.
Recommend process improvements and efficiency opportunities.
Order and maintain tooling and critical spare parts.
