PURPOSE OF POSITION: Arthur Companies is seeking a motivated Technology Intern to support our technology team across our multi-location agricultural operations. This internship provides hands-on experience in real-world technology environments, supporting business systems, infrastructure, and software development initiatives.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in college, technical school, or post-high school IT/technology training program
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networking, or programming
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Nice To Haves
- Degree focus in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to end users (in person, phone, or remote)
- Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Support user account setup and permissions management
- Help maintain and deploy laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
- Document support tickets and resolutions
- Assist with cybersecurity best practices and updates
- Assist in developing and testing internal applications or system enhancements
- Support ERP system improvements (e.g., Microsoft F&O, related platforms)
- Participate in reporting automation and data integration projects
- Write, test, and debug code under supervision
- Help document system processes and technical workflows
- Support data validation and system optimization initiatives
- Support technology documentation and SOP development
- Participate in cross-department technology projects
- Assist with system audits and security compliance tasks
- Collaborate with accounting, operations, and leadership teams
- Complete special projects as assigned
