In the role of Temporary Brewery Worker in Elkton, VA, you will be part of the Integrated Supply Chain Team. You will be responsible for operating forklifts or packaging equipment in a dynamic environment focused on shipping large volumes of packaged product. The brewery run a 2X2X3 schedule (Two days on, two days off, three days on…and will rotate). Shifts are 12 hours that rotates between days and nights every 4 weeks. Hours are 7am – 7pm for days, and 7pm – 7am for nights. Salary starts at $20/hr.
This position reports to the Process Leader and works closely with their fellow Brewery Workers, Mechanics and Electricians.

Requirements

• Flexibility to work rotating and/or off-shifts
• Previous experience driving a forklift or willingness to be trained to operate a forklift
• Familiar with operating a computer
• You are comfortable with the physical requirements of this position (standing, lifting, walking)

Responsibilities

• Operate, understand, and rotate through all pieces of packaging equipment
• Responsible for the sanitation of all equipment on the assigned line
• Perform line checks, assist with accident investigations, hazard analysis, audits, and attend meetings as required
• Drive forklifts as trained to do so
• Read and interpret packaging schedule, job procedures, and work instructions
• Responsible for autonomous maintenance of valves, motors, pumps, filter and gear boxes including lubricating all machinery, making necessary operational adjustments, and ensuring equipment is running efficiently producing a quality product
