In this role, you will be responsible for driving the technical vision and strategy, overseeing the development of innovative engineering solutions, and ensuring the successful implementation of complex projects. Your leadership will be instrumental in advancing our mission and maintaining our competitive edge in the industry. This is an individual based role that works closely with multiple teams in the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge engineering projects that align with organizational goals Establish and promote best practices in Teradata system architecture, design principles, and software development methodologies Oversee the project lifecycle from conception to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables within set timelines and budgets Drive technical innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and integrating them into existing systems and processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and success metrics while ensuring alignment with business goals Job Description: This job is responsible for partnering with engineering and technology teams to implement measures as prescribed by lead/senior SRE engineers. Key responsibilities include ensuring appropriate instrumentation, tooling, ticketing, alerting and on call routines are in place for key services, identifying root causes of issues through production triage efforts, and suggesting code enhancements to technology teams to automate services and improve reliability and efficiency. Job expectations include using software development skills to improve efficiency and to address gaps in reliability.
