Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is hiring a Territory Sales Representative to own and grow a high‑impact, multi‑market territory , with Hospitality and YMCA customers representing the largest share of revenue and opportunity . In this remote, field‑based role, you will drive revenue through consultative, relationship-driven selling , strengthening existing partnerships, re‑energizing underdeveloped accounts , and positioning Life Fitness / Hammer Strength as the long‑term partner of choice. You’ll manage a broader portfolio that includes select commercial, residential, recreation, and specialty fitness environments as natural extensions of territory ownership. This role is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys territory ownership, account recovery, and long‑cycle deal leadership . The position is best suited for someone based in California , preferably NorCal) with the flexibility and enthusiasm to travel to Hawaii at least once per quarter , based on customer needs, installations, and key projects. Requirements

  • 3+ years of field sales or account management experience
  • Northern California residence strongly preferred (Greater Oakland, San Jose, Sacramento areas)
  • Proven consultative selling and relationship‑building skills
  • Experience managing large, geographically dispersed territories
  • Comfort navigating multi‑stakeholder and long sales cycles
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred)
  • Strong communication and storytelling abilities
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including quarterly Hawaii travel

  • Experience selling into Hospitality, YMCA, or multi‑site fitness environments
  • Exposure to fitness, wellness, or capital equipment solutions
  • Experience in property management, hospitality operations, or selling to property‑managed / real estate‑driven environments

  • Experience working with designers, developers, or project‑based sales cycles

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a multi‑state territory, driving the majority of revenue through Hospitality and YMCA accounts
  • Lead long‑cycle, consultative sales processes with executives and multi‑stakeholder buying groups
  • Re‑engage dormant or underpenetrated accounts, converting established relationships into active pipeline
  • Apply consultative selling skills across adjacent markets (MUH, Health Clubs, Campus, Corporate, Medical Wellness, Local Government, Athletics) as part of a balanced portfolio
  • Travel to Hawaii quarterly for extended stays to support customer needs and project execution
  • Manage pipeline, forecasting, and territory priorities with strong CRM discipline
