Summary: This role will support OBD performance and calibration engineering for heavy duty diesel engines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 4+ years relevant industry experience.
  • Education with the following specialties preferred: Mechanical, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing.
  • 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty diesel engine OBD performance and calibration engineering.
  • Experience using Matlab Simulink for controls
  • Expertise in hardware specification and calibration of embedded functions.
  • Proven leadership in technical development and project execution.
  • Strong understanding of engines, EATS, drivelines, and vehicle systems.
  • Recognized subject matter expert with strong problem‐solving skills.
  • Experience mentoring others and guiding technical direction.
  • Ability to align engineering work with broader product and business strategy.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Define specifications for feature‐related hardware components.
  • Calibrate embedded software datasets for engines, EATS, drivelines, and vehicle systems.
  • Lead engine performance and calibration development.
  • Execute verification activities and contribute to development plans.
  • Manage dataset configuration, synchronization, and release.
  • Improve methods, tools, and processes.
  • Provide input to product and system roadmaps.
  • Build strong cross‐functional networks.
