White Oak Medical Center Rehabilitation seeks to hire a Therapy Technician/CNA for our Inpatient Rehabilitation hospital in White Oak Medical Center, who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Therapy Technician, you will: Assist therapist in treating patients Transport patients to and from scheduled activities (teams, therapy, dining) Ordering patient durable medical equipment for discharge Inventory of supplies and document Communicating schedule changes to patients and families Cleaning of equipment ( wheelchairs, durable medical equipment, mats) Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School education and diploma or equivalent
- Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience preferred but not required
- Students who are looking to advance to PT/OT/ST/TR are encouraged to apply
