About The Position
ABOUT US: Did you know that one tissue donor can enhance the lives of more than 75 people? Since 1976, MSTF has helped to facilitate the organ and tissue donation process between donor families and transplant recipients and promotes awareness through public and professional education. Learn more how you can be part of this life saving work. As a Tissue Recovery Technician, you will be working on a team that will recover postmortem musculoskeletal and/or cardiovascular tissues by using surgical techniques in our donor service area (3 hour radius of Memphis, TN). You are the surgeon doing the recovery! We provide the training (takes approximately 3 months).
Requirements
- Individuals with Aseptic Technique and Human Anatomy knowledge
- Experience as an EMT
- Autopsy Technician
- Surgical Technician
- funeral home experience
