About The Position

Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on progressive, transfer, blanking, or line dies used in metal stamping or aluminum production Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble dies to ensure optimal performance Perform TIG welding repairs and modifications on dies and tooling Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems Conduct preventive and corrective die maintenance to reduce downtime Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and tooling drawings Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve die performance Operate manual machining equipment (e.g. grinders, mills) as needed Requirements: Minimum 5 years of die maintenance experience in metal stamping, aluminum, or mold making Journeyman tool and die certification highly preferred Strong TIG welding skills At least 5 years of hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics Ability to troubleshoot and repair progressive, transfer, or blanking dies Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Commitment to safety and continuous improvement Why Join Metalsa? Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of die maintenance experience in metal stamping, aluminum, or mold making
  • Journeyman tool and die certification highly preferred
  • Strong TIG welding skills
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair progressive, transfer, or blanking dies
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
