The Tool Librarian Associate is responsible for providing support for the Lending library. This role involves assisting patrons with tool and equipment lending, maintaining inventory, working with and coordinating volunteers and outside contractors, performing administrative tasks, and engaging with the community. The Tool Librarian Associate will also oversee tool know how and instruction, safety, and tool maintenance ensuring tools are in good condition and providing expert advice on home maintenance and repairs. As a Facilities worker, you help create an experience that makes our community say, "I love Fayetteville Public Library!" You are comfortable in a changing environment, with multitasking, and with learning new systems and procedures. As a member of the facilities team, you will enhance customer experience by providing a superior level of cleaning quality and maintaining the library in like-new conditions through excellent housekeeping and maintenance practices. In your role, you will assist with building, mechanical, landscape, and tool library maintenance. You understand that safety is our top priority and practice safe behaviors in everything that you do and assist in providing a safe and secure environment for the library visitors, volunteers, and staff.
