Position Summary The General Foreperson must have the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities assigned by his/her immediate supervisor; provide the necessary information, drawings, specifications, materials, tools, and equipment needed for crew(s) to accomplish the work.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience
- OSHA 30 should be preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and scheduling
- Enforce safe practices and job safety programs
- Monitor all paperwork for accuracy, clarity, and completeness
- Analyze the work to find a more productive cost-efficient method
- Monitor performance and provide written evaluation, assistance, and training to all assigned employees
- Prepare employees for additional responsibilities
- Keep the proper management informed of all significant information
- Additional responsibilities not listed may be required
