About The Position

The Schaumburg Park District is an award-winning public agency that provides its 80,000 residents with a wide variety of recreational facilities, programs, events, parks and open spaces. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level Trades Technician! You’ll work as part of a dedicated team that is responsible for our buildings, including maintenance, repair, inspections, large scale projects and so much more! Our team also oversees the operations of our swimming pool facilities, and no experience is necessary… all training is provided! We supply all of your tools, PPE and a uniform. We also have a fleet of trucks for our team members to use for their work.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Illinois class “C” driver’s license
Sufficient physical ability for the position
Ability to work in a safe and effective manner
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work together as part of a cohesive team

Nice To Haves

At least one (1) year of related work experience or have taken trades courses
