About The Position

Core Duties and Responsibilities  Traffic, Scheduling and Copy Management Build, revise, and maintain daily commercial logs in WideOrbit, ensuring accuracy and adherence to sales orders and programming requirements. Schedule commercials, sponsorships, and promotional inventory across assigned stations or channels. Apply proper rotations, restrictions, priorities, and separation rules to all schedules. Monitor inventory availability and flag potential conflicts, overbooking, or makegood needs. Receive, enter, assign, and manage commercial copy within WideOrbit. Assign correct copy to orders and rotations, verifying accuracy prior to air. Track copy expiration dates, updates, and replacements to prevent missed or incorrect airings.  Reconciliation & Reporting Communicate proactively with Sales, Account Managers, and Programming regarding schedule changes, copy issues, or order discrepancies. Reconcile traffic logs post-air, verifying accurate airing and resolving discrepancies. Process pre-emptions, missed spots, and makegoods in accordance with company policy. Support revenue reconciliation by ensuring traffic data aligns with billing and invoicing systems. Generate and distribute traffic, discrepancy, and reconciliation reports as needed. Assist with campaign troubleshooting and resolutions to maintain advertiser satisfaction. Support audits, month-end close, and internal reporting requirements related to traffic operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a numerate field preferred; minimum GPA of 3.5
  • At least one year of relevant work experience, including internships
  • Team player and quick learner.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on accuracy and accountability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
