This position is responsible for delivering training to various groups of employees throughout the bank via a variety of media including in-person, webinars, and recordings. Contributes to the process of selection and/or development of training and/or training materials. Provides assistance to employees with web-based compliance training system. Responsible for tracking training needed versus training received, including compliance training on the web-based system. Primarily responsible for providing training to employees and delivering portions of new hire orientation. Conducts a variety of training, including compliance, customer service, sales, and general development training. This includes planning, preparation and set-up for training activities. This position has primary responsibility for retail training, but supports all departments, as well as contributes to the new hire orientation process. Assists with developing training, including lesson plans, teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works. Tests trainees to measure progress and evaluate effectiveness of training. Assists employees with problems concerning training needs, helping employees to find and receive any development needed. Coordinates with supervisor for more unusual cases. Based on familiarity with processes in various areas of the bank, makes suggestions for improving work procedures. Maintains training records for easy tracking of training needed versus training received, including assisting with the on-line compliance training software. Works with departments to integrate procedural additions, changes, and/or deletions into training after procedures have been agreed upon by the department's management, as well as the Bank's Audit group. Oversees the Mentor Program, currently supporting the Customer Contact Center, Teller, and Retail Banker positions. Would support changes and/or expansion of the program. Create and produce quarterly reports,and other reports as needed. Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure training upholds all regulatory requirements. Partner collaboratively with departments and Risk Management.
