About The Position

The Training Coordinator is responsible for designing, developing, coordinating, and supporting structured learning programs that drive operational performance and workforce readiness. This role ensures new hire onboarding, compliance training, and continuous learning initiatives are effectively delivered, measurable, and aligned to business objectives. The coordinator partners with Operations, Quality, HR, and subject matter experts to create engaging learning experiences that improve productivity, quality, and employee training.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: 4-year degree is preferred and 2–4 years of experience or a degree.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Suite, Articulate Rise, ETQ
  • Experience: Previous experience in training and development, instructional design, or a related area is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to effectively convey information and engage participants in all areas of training.
  • Time Management Skills: Manages multiple concurrent deliverables (eLearning modules, facilitator and training guides, orientation schedules, ETQ uploads). Plans onboarding based on hiring forecasts and preparing materials well in advance.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple training programs and logistics efficiently.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Quality Management System and other training-related software is increasingly important.

Responsibilities

  • Training Needs Assessment: Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop appropriate training programs.
  • Program Development: Design and create training materials, including instructional content and resources to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant to best practices. Manage training materials and resources.
  • Logistics Management: Organize and coordinate training sessions, including scheduling, printing of training materials and participant rosters.
  • Training Delivery: Facilitate New Hire Orientation/ Annual Training sessions.
  • Evaluation and Reporting: Assess the effectiveness of training programs with surveys, and maintain records in ETQ.
