We are searching for the best talent for Innovative Medicine (IM) Transcend: Global Cutover & Hypercare Director! This hybrid position will be located in Titusville, New Jersey (USA). Alternate hybrid locations may be considered at other Innovative Medicine Supply Chain (IMSC) hubs such as Beerse, Belgium; Cork, Ireland; Cologno Monzese, Italy; Issy-les-Moulineaux, France; Madrid, Spain; Porto Salvo, Portugal; Neuss, Germany; Leiden, Netherlands; and Zug or Schaffhausen, Switzerland. The Global Cutover & Hypercare Director is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end strategy, readiness, execution for Business Cutover, and post-Go‑live hypercare for multiple IM Transcend releases. This senior leader standardizes runbooks and tooling, and orchestrates cross‑functional teams to ensure predictable, compliant, and low‑downtime transitions. This role partners closely with Deployment, PMO, Business and Technology leaders to manage rehearsals, validate data migration readiness, coordinate hypercare stabilization, be responsible for issue triage, track metrics, and drive continuous improvement. Additionally, this role will define and lead the hypercare model, ensuring rapid stabilization after launch and a smooth transition to steady state support through a dedicated Hypercare team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Proven success leading global cutover or deployment teams supporting large-scale business transformation programs
  • Demonstrated program and project management skills, including orchestration, planning, and readiness execution
  • Deep expertise in ERP cutover planning and execution, including ramp-down/up coordination, mock cutovers, data migration readiness, environmental validation, and contingency planning
  • Extensive experience leading hypercare stabilization, incident triage, issue resolution, and transition into steady‑state operations
  • Strong understanding of complex system landscapes, integrations, Data migration dependencies, and infrastructure transitions
  • Experience operating within regulated (e.g., SOX, GxP, CSV, SDLC) environments with strong process and documentation discipline
  • Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA, including architecture, integration points, and supporting tools; familiarity with Fiori modules is a plus
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder‑engagement skills across business, IT, system integrators, validation partners, and global/regional teams
  • People‑management experience (coaching, mentoring, developing teams)
  • Requires proficiency in English (written and verbal) to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Requires up to 25% domestic and international travel, depending on work location and business needs
  • Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on‑site a minimum of three days per week, with the option for two remote workdays

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or MBA) and/or a focused degree in Supply Chain, Business, Business Management, Engineering, IT, Technical/Scientific, or a related field preferred
  • Certifications preferred: PMP/FPX, APICS, ISTQB, Lean/Six Sigma, or equivalent
  • Industry experience in Pharmaceuticals or Life Sciences

Responsibilities

  • Own and govern a global, risk‑based cutover and hypercare methodology, ensuring consistency and repeatability across IM Transcend releases
  • Develop and maintain standardized cutover runbooks, tooling, templates, governance practices, and documentation requirements
  • Lead integrated cutover planning, including readiness tasks, dependencies, resource assignments, success metrics, and rollback procedures
  • Direct mock cutovers, rehearsals, environmental readiness checks, and data migration validation to ensure predictable execution
  • Orchestrate production cutovers across applications, data, infrastructure, and business processes to minimize downtime and operational disruption
  • Lead and develop a global network of Business Cutover Leads and cross‑functional deployment teams; manage capacity and readiness
  • Define and operate the hypercare stabilization model, including incident management workflows, escalation channels, rosters, SLAs, and stabilization checkpoints
  • Coordinate vendor and third‑party responsibilities across cutover and hypercare, ensuring clarity and alignment on SLAs and deliverables
  • Implement and monitor metrics measuring readiness, execution quality, downtime, defects, and value realization; drive continuous improvement
  • Provide transparent status, risk, and mitigation reporting to senior leadership and program governance bodies
  • Champion automation, orchestration tools, and generative‑AI‑enabled enhancements to increase speed, predictability, and standardization
  • Integrate cutover and hypercare deliverables into program stage‑gate governance and readiness assessments
  • Capture lessons learned across releases and translate them into actionable improvements for future deployments
