Transportation and Logistics Coordinator
About The Position
The Transportation and Logistics Coordinator will support the Operations and Sales teams, as well as be a point of contact for all Minor Figures clients. This role is responsible for managing Inbound and Outbound freight across multiple transportation modes, including Drayage, Full Truckload (FTL), and LTL shipments. The position will report directly to the Senior Planning Manager of North America. This position is ideal for a highly organized individual who is comfortable working independently in a fast paced environment. Strong communication, problem solving and the ability to collaborate is a prerequisite for this position. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is preferred, as well as experience working with freight brokers and carriers.

Responsibilities
- Manage logistics for inbound raw materials & outbound customer orders fulfillment.
- Coordinate Drayage, Full Truckload (FTL), and LTL transportation movements
- Manage relationships with brokers and carriers
- Collaborate with brokers on product classification and trade documentation
- Negotiate freight rates and manage freight cost
- Optimize load planning and spend efficiency
- Partner with Operations Coordinator on customers payments and credit limits
- Identify opportunities and/or inefficiencies and offer solutions for improvement
- File, monitor, and follow up on freight claims with carriers
