Help make a difference—one patient at a time. We are seeking a dependable, compassionate Part‑Time Transporter to join our healthcare team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting patient care by ensuring the safe, timely movement of patients, equipment, and essential supplies throughout the facility. Schedule Details Flexible part‑time hours scheduled between 11:00 a.m. and midnight Every other weekend and every other holiday required Why This Role Matters As a Transporter, you are an essential link in the patient care experience. Requirements

  • A strong commitment to patient safety and service excellence
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with clinical and non‑clinical teams
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and professionalism in a fast‑paced healthcare environment
  • Ability to properly operate and safely use patient transport equipment
  • CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire, based on American Heart Association (AHA) standards and including both didactic instruction and hands‑on skills demonstration
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) accepted
  • Pennsylvania Clearances (required with renewals): Act 31 – Child Abuse Reporting Act 33 – PA Child Abuse Clearance Act 34 – PA Criminal History Clearance Act 73 – FBI Fingerprinting Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport patients and necessary equipment between nursing units, treatment areas, and designated locations, following established policies and procedures
  • Deliver supplies, equipment, medications, and other materials accurately and on time, ensuring proper handoff of medications with nursing staff
  • Inspect, clean, and disinfect transport equipment to maintain safety and infection‑control standards
  • Accurately document transportation activities using the electronic Transport Tracking System and/or required logs
  • Communicate transportation status, delays, or unusual activities to the manager on duty
  • Maintain a courteous, professional demeanor while interacting with patients, visitors, and colleagues
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions to safely and effectively perform transportation duties
  • May work in areas where medications are stored and may transport medications as part of patient transport activities
  • Medication transport is limited to approved transfers between departments and must follow established procedures
  • Demonstrates professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance
