Help make a difference—one patient at a time. We are seeking a dependable, compassionate Part‑Time Transporter to join our healthcare team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting patient care by ensuring the safe, timely movement of patients, equipment, and essential supplies throughout the facility. Requirements

A strong commitment to patient safety and service excellence
Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with clinical and non‑clinical teams
Reliability, attention to detail, and professionalism in a fast‑paced healthcare environment
Ability to properly operate and safely use patient transport equipment
CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire, based on American Heart Association (AHA) standards and including both didactic instruction and hands‑on skills demonstration
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) accepted
Pennsylvania Clearances (required with renewals): Act 31 – Child Abuse Reporting Act 33 – PA Child Abuse Clearance Act 34 – PA Criminal History Clearance Act 73 – FBI Fingerprinting Clearance

Responsibilities

Safely transport patients and necessary equipment between nursing units, treatment areas, and designated locations, following established policies and procedures
Deliver supplies, equipment, medications, and other materials accurately and on time, ensuring proper handoff of medications with nursing staff
Inspect, clean, and disinfect transport equipment to maintain safety and infection‑control standards
Accurately document transportation activities using the electronic Transport Tracking System and/or required logs
Communicate transportation status, delays, or unusual activities to the manager on duty
Maintain a courteous, professional demeanor while interacting with patients, visitors, and colleagues
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions to safely and effectively perform transportation duties
May work in areas where medications are stored and may transport medications as part of patient transport activities
Medication transport is limited to approved transfers between departments and must follow established procedures
Demonstrates professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance
