Job Description: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Floor Cleaning Supervisor to oversee our cleaning operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in janitorial or custodial services, with leadership skills to manage a team and ensure exceptional service delivery. Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the janitorial or custodial services industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, janitorial, and maintenance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel to different work sites in different states.
  • Travel is 70% to 90% of the time Monday through Friday.
  • Company paid hotels and transportation.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be willing to willing to travel overnight on the road a week at a time
  • Must have a current Drivers license with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of floor cleaning technicians to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Manage daily cleaning tasks including mopping, cleaning restrooms, carpet cleaning, windows, dusting, pressure washing, upholstery, etc.
  • Train new team members on floor care techniques and safety procedures.
  • Monitor cleaning equipment and supplies inventory, and coordinate maintenance as needed.
  • Inspect work performed by team members to ensure adherence to quality standards and client specifications.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain records of cleaning activities and prepare reports as required.
