About The Position

The processor will support a variety of projects within Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), including, but not limited to, PeopleSoft HCM and TalentEd PowerSchool applications. The position is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and monitoring reports related to Employment Authorization Documents (EADs). The role may provide bilingual (Spanish/English) support to effectively communicate with and assist a diverse workforce. This Processor is expected to continuously expand their knowledge and related technologies while maintaining high standards of professionalism, accuracy, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Advanced skills in computer/technology/systems.
  • Demonstrated technology skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including Office 365, Word, and Excel.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and a variety of responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of data privacy practices and laws; experience with windows-based computing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of experience and training, preferred.
  • PeopleSoft and Talent Ed experience preferred.
  • E-Verify and Form I-9 experience preferred
  • Familiarity with visa classifications and work authorization categories
  • Fluently bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Employment Authorization Document Support: Manage, review, and process documentation related to employment work authorization in compliance with federal immigration regulations. Ensures timely verification, renewal tracking, and accurate recordkeeping of employment eligibility documentation.
  • File Management: Organize, maintain, and update physical employee documents into a digital record management system in accordance with district policies and data privacy standards. Assist with compliance reviews, audits, and reporting requirements. Prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • HRIS Support: Maintain and support HR systems, including PeopleSoft and TalentEd Power School Applications. Perform accurate data entry, troubleshoot issues, and generate reports to ensure compliance and data integrity.
  • Interpreter: Assist with interpreting the New Hire Onboarding class and serve as a bilingual (English/Spanish) resource for the Talent Services department. Provide support in processing new employee records during critical hiring peaks. Assist with analyzing and evaluating data, interpreting findings, and preparing reports to support processes in Talent Services.
  • Adheres to strong standards of professional ethics and confidentiality when relating to staff, administration, and community.
  • Perform a variety of responsible clerical, technical, administrative, and office support duties in support of District hiring.
  • Provide customer service, both in-person and by telephone; screen and direct telephone calls; take and relay messages; answer questions from employees and the general public as appropriate other requests for information.
  • Exhibits interpersonal skills pertinent to building positive human relationships with all District staff and community resources.
  • Possess skills pertinent to positive human relationships and the ability to work effectively with staff members as well as the many publics in a multicultural urban setting.
