About The Position

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Rate CPP and CAP renewals and new business Code worksheets Request Audit Information Complete Commercial Audit Recaps Oversee/Review checkout work Organize and prioritize duties, paying close attention to detail, while meeting established timeframes. Close attention to detail is essential as errors could result in premium impacts which may impact company financials. Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS: Maintain suspense files for future follow-up. Read, analyze, interpret and follow procedures, regulations, instructions, manuals and other documents as required. Perform crossover duties as assigned by management. Participate in meetings and have involvement in projects related to Commercial Underwriting Provide support to the division and department to accomplish departmental goals. QUALIFICATION, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent required. Two years of Insurance industry experience required. Completion of Intro to Risk Management and Insurance (or equivalent/higher education) or three years of Insurance industry experience required. Continued involvement in professional education required. Possess proficient skills with computer, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Sharepoint, Word, and Internet). Must enter data into various processing systems accurately and efficiently. Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in verbal and written form. Possess both analytical and decision making skills with attention to detail Organized with the ability to prioritize duties and work independently with a minimum of supervision. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal form. Customer focused, team oriented and willing to assist in other areas. Requirements
