The successful candidate will provide business management support to a team of around 40 employees within Wealth and Private Banking Operations. Key responsibilities include optimizing operational processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and exceptional customer service, as well as collaborating with the IWPB Wealth and Product teams to drive business strategy across the portfolio. The role also involves supporting cost-saving transformation initiatives to enhance client experience and maintaining effective oversight of third-party vendors, SEI and Pershing, in line with HSBC’s vendor management policies. The role is responsible for managing the overall service performance of IWPB Private Bank and Wealth Operations, ensuring timely, high-quality, and accurate performance reporting in accordance with defined schedules. Key duties include leading the operations team across core functions such as trade settlements, corporate action processing, account servicing, reconciliation, security pricing, and margin processing. The position requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, compliance, and risk teams to develop and implement strategies that drive operational efficiency and enhance client satisfaction. The successful candidate will oversee the Wealth Investment portfolio to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, while also driving change management initiatives to support business growth, process automation, and operational scalability. Additional responsibilities include monitoring third-party KPIs and SLAs, leveraging data for decision-making and performance improvement, ensuring adherence to HSBC policies and regulations, providing leadership and mentorship to the team, and staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
