About The Position

Coeur Rochester, a subsidiary of Coeur Mining Inc. based near Lovelock, Nevada, is seeking a Skilled Utility Lube Technician to join our team at the Rochester Mine. The Utility Lube Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient lubrication, fueling, and routine preventative maintenance of utility crew heavy equipment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting daily operations by ensuring all assigned equipment is properly serviced and ready for use.

Requirements

  • Valid Nevada motor vehicle operator’s license
  • 2 or more years of mining experience, preferred
  • Experienced mobile equipment operator (skid steer, dozer, loader, water truck)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Safety conscious
  • Self-motivated

Responsibilities

  • Perform the Oilers duties, daily lubrication tasks on all mobile equipment
  • Maintain service equipment such as service trucks, fuel pumps, lubricant systems and other equipment needed to perform required duties
  • Safely and effectively build, maintain and design using metal, wood, dirt and concrete
  • Ability and knowledge of laser leveling, GPS and survey equipment, with the advanced knowledge of all Safety and Environmental procedures
  • Operate mobile equipment: must be able to operate dozers, tractors and loaders.
  • Site wide snow removal, to include shovel, skid steer, ice, etc.
  • Relief in refinery or process plant as needed.
  • Ability to work under all weather conditions
  • Ability to safely navigate uneven terrain safely
  • Ability to safely and efficiently work around various electrical and water utilities, overhead and electrical lines and congested areas
  • Ability to job plan and execute within safety and environmental compliance, coordinate with contractor and interdepartmental, technician training on equipment and special project assignments
  • Complete Intelex and Oracle reporting and operations
  • Able to wear and complete job tasks using all required PPE including but not limited to: safety toe and rubber boots, gloves and respirator, etc.
  • Follow and support all federal, state, and company policies
