Job Summary Performs a variety of semi-skilled technical and maintenance work in the operation, maintenance and repair of the water treatment facility, tank and distribution system and the operation of wastewater collection systems. Requirements
- Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license, Class B preferred.
- Must complete ICS 100 and ICS 700 within the first year of employment.
- Possession of a Colorado Operators C Water Certificate.
- Possession of a Colorado Distribution Class 1 Certificate.
- Possession of a Colorado Class l Wastewater Collection Certificate.
- Possession of a First Aid & CPR Certificate or the ability to complete the training.
- Possession of a CDOT Flagger Certification.
- Graduation from high school education or GED equivalent, and supplemented by two (2) years post-secondary college or technical training in biology, environmental science, chemistry, or closely related field, and Two (2) years of experience in water and/or wastewater utility, or Any equivalent combination of education or experience.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of semi-skilled technical and maintenance work in the operation, maintenance and repair of the water treatment facility, tank and distribution system and the operation of wastewater collection systems.
