About The Position

Great security tools don't just protect systems, they empower the people behind them. Our security experience group is looking for a UX designer who can turn complex, high-stakes security data into experiences that make it easy for Amazon builders to do the right thing. As a UX Designer on our team, you will solve complex design problems across our unified security suite, contributing to a cohesive experience that reduces builder overhead and makes secure practices the path of least resistance. You will work collaboratively with customers, engineers, and product managers throughout the design lifecycle, owning your solutions from conception through implementation. We build solutions that keep Amazon systems and data secure on behalf of the Amazon customer. Our customers range from security engineers who need a comprehensive view of their security state, to service teams who need to build and operate secure systems with minimal overhead. We use the latest technology, automation, and AI to solve security problems at Amazon scale. You have a growth mindset when faced with ambiguous and complex problems, and a background in complex data products or technical domains. You have solid design fundamentals, believe in systems-level thinking, and communicate your design decisions clearly to partners and stakeholders. We are a multi-disciplinary team creating experiences that raise the bar in security. Our centralized security suite is where Amazon builders go to understand and manage their security posture, drive action on the highest risk areas of the business, and enable security teams to reduce risk efficiently. We are on a mission, have fun working together, and have a culture of learning and career growth. We value work-life harmony, celebrate diversity of ideas and perspectives, and provide endless knowledge-sharing and career-advancing resources to help you grow.
