Springfield Public Schools seeks outstanding candidates for the position of Varsity Head Girls Basketball Coach at Thurston High School. Requirements

• Previous High School basketball coaching experience
• Effective communication skills
• Work schedule that allows for flexibility with practice and game schedules
• NFHS/OSAA certified and First Aid certified
• Willingness to work within the school and athletic guidelines
• Ability to organize a complete basketball program grades 9-12
• Ability and commitment to practice cultural competency and demonstrate respect for diversity

Nice To Haves

• Fundraising knowledge and/or capabilities
• Ability to be District Van Certified
• Understanding of OSAA rules and regulations
• Ability to work with parents and booster clubs
