About The Position

P.F. Chang’s is seeking a Vice President, Controller to serve as the senior financial executive leading our global accounting organization. This is a critical leadership role focused on pre-IPO readiness, ensuring our financial systems, policies, and controls meet the rigorous standards of a publicly traded company. You will oversee all corporate and restaurant accounting operations, technical accounting governance, and enterprise financial reporting.

Requirements

• CPA designation is required (active or inactive).
• 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 8 years in a multidisciplinary leadership role.
• Requires deep experience in multi-unit restaurant, hospitality, or retail environments is essential.
• Expert-level GAAP knowledge and proven success with IPO transitions, S1 filings, and SOX compliance.
• Advanced experience with ERP systems (Workday, NetSuite, or SAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead all SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1) and partner with internal audit to drive SOX readiness and documentation.
• Advise the executive team on regulatory considerations and financial governance.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation and close processes while driving continuous improvement in automation and data integrity.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, HR, IT, and Legal to provide accounting guidance on capital projects, labor decisions, and enterprise transformation.
• Lead the optimization of ERP and reporting systems to support organizational scale and transparency.
