About The Position

At Verrica Pharmaceuticals Inc. (“Verrica”) we are passionate about developing innovative therapies for common skin diseases. Our commercial product, YCANTH®, is the first FDA-approved treatment for Molluscum Contagiosum, a skin infection most commonly affecting children, and we have several future products in development. As Vice President, Distribution, Trade and Channel, you will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the distribution and patient services model for YCANTH and future product launches. You will collaborate with the Company’s Chief Commercial Officer in developing channel strategy, and leading the cross functional implementation across the organization. The Vice President, Distribution, Trade and Channel may also be required to assist or perform other duties within the Company as directed, from time to time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 10+ years in the Branded Pharmaceutical/Biotech Industries with prior experience in Trade Distribution & Patient Services/Specialty Pharmacy, and/or Managed Care required
  • High agility in working in a fast-paced start-up environment and the ability to adapt to business challenges as they arise.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all distribution and patient services activities, including ownership of vendor relationships with the Company’s third-party logistics provider, distributors and wholesalers, contracted specialty pharmacy partners, and patient services program administrators.
  • Handle all trade related matters, including business rules and SOPs, discounting, returns, and strategy.
  • Lead the pharmacy account team in all management of specialty and independent pharmacy relationships.
  • Assist the Chief Commercial Officer with pricing strategy.
  • Work cross functionally with teams across Verrica, including reimbursement, market access, marketing, sales, finance, legal, and compliance.
  • Agree to and follow all Company policies and procedures.
