About this role We are looking for smart, energetic, diligent, team-oriented and experienced M&A professionals. Vice Presidents at Equiteq play critical roles in client engagement, delivery and internal operations. You’ll be given a significant amount of responsibility including representing the firm as the day-to-day client contact, quarterbacking transaction workstreams, owning financial and qualitative analyses, and contributing significantly to origination / pitch efforts. Requirements

  • At least six years of investment banking experience, or three-years with an MBA from a reputable institution
  • Deep experience and understanding of the M&A process and relevant commercial considerations – ability to translate knowledge into valuable client advice
  • Demonstrated project management skills – ability to manage complex workstreams and team dynamics towards successful outcomes under demanding timeframes
  • Technical mastery of all relevant financial concepts and analytical frameworks / methodologies
  • Strong written and presentational skills – ability to drive key points backed by a deliberate thought process
  • Ability to effectively interact with client management teams, boards of directors, and 3rd party advisors and stakeholders
  • FINRA SIE, Series 79 and 63 licenses

  • Relevant sector experience strongly preferred
