Get paid to work on real client projects and build your portfolio? Mythic is currently seeking a Video Editing and Content Creation intern to join our Studio production team. The paid 8-week program is designed for a post-production specialist who wants to transition classroom theory into professional-grade editing and coordinating. Here you will work alongside our award-winning team of Directors, Producers, Editors, and Animators assisting them in producing high-quality media for our clients. With the Mythic Studio, you will have an incredible opportunity to build lasting relationships in the industry, strengthen your resume/portfolio, and develop real-world skills to prepare you for a future career in video content production. Requirements
- Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects is required.
- Basic understanding of social media platform requirements and technical specs.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with an eye for detail.
- Must be a 2026 graduating senior in order to apply.
- Must be within a commutable distance from our office in Charlotte, NC (or willing to move within a commutable distance) for the duration of the program
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist Mythic Studio staff in the technical execution of video projects through post-production and final finishing.
- Master high-in-demand technical skills including editing, 2D animation, color grading, sound mixing.
- Log and load footage into Adobe Premiere Pro, and export color and mix preps for senior editors to streamline post-production timelines.
- Assist in social media content creation by editing raw footage, building motion graphics, and animating gifs for various platforms.
- Maintain rigorous media management, project documentation, expense tracking, and server organization to ensure seamless hand-offs between creative teams.
- Assist with on-set production like setting up lighting, camera, and sound, packing gear, organizing production documents, running production errands, etc.
- Perform technical reviews of final exports to ensure all tasks adhere to the high-quality standards expected from the company.
