Requirements

  • Masters of Accountancy or MBA
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA) preferred, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) considered
  • Work experience in accounting or finance
  • Potential for teaching excellence
  • Ability to create an environment that acknowledges, encourages and celebrates difference within the context of varying beliefs, behaviors, orientations, identities, and cultural backgrounds

Responsibilities

  • Teach six courses annually (3/3) in accounting and finance at the introductory, intermediate and advanced levels, potentially including introduction to financial accounting, financial statement analysis, financial management, and related topics reflecting both the candidate’s expertise and the needs of the department and program.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Economics and Business department to advance a shared vision for extraordinary student outcomes and growth across supported programs.
  • Support department co-curricular groups and activities as appropriate, such as the Woltemade Economics and Business Fellows.
  • Assist in curriculum development, revision, and evaluation.
  • Play a key role in recruiting prospective students and enhancing existing campus programming.
