Requirements

  • Masters in Economics, Business Administration/DBA, Management Science, Marketing, Operations Management, or a closely related field
  • Potential for teaching excellence

Nice To Haves

  • Ph.d. (or near completion) in Economics, Business Administration/DBA, Management Science, Marketing, Operations Management, or a closely related field
  • Experience teaching at the undergraduate level

Responsibilities

  • Teach six courses annually (3/3) in or adjacent to business analytics at the introductory, intermediate and advanced levels, potentially including data analytics, business operations, research methods, principles of marketing, and related topics reflecting both the candidate’s expertise and the needs of the department and program.
  • Specifically teach two units of Introductory to Data Analytics, one in fall and one in spring semester.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Economics and Business department and the Data Analytics Program to advance a shared vision for extraordinary student outcomes and growth across supported programs.
  • Support department co-curricular groups and activities as appropriate, such as the Woltemade Economics and Business Fellows.
  • Assist in curriculum development, revision, and evaluation.
  • Play a key role in recruiting prospective students and enhancing existing campus programming.
