About The Position

Path to College is looking for a caring, dedicated, and experienced leader to join our team in Central Palm Beach County to enjoy a rewarding career helping to improve the lives of others! Path to College Fellowship Program is recruiting for a Volunteer Engagement Manager to help lead our mentoring, career exposure, and volunteer partnerships in order to effectively support our academic enrichment programs in the implementation of our organization’s mission: To expand minds and ignite potential. We envision a world where genius, leadership, and excellence are cultivated in the most overlooked communities. This is a full-time (40 hrs/wk) position. On-call availability and the ability to work a flexible schedule are required. Salary range 55-70k. Bilingual preferred. The Volunteer Engagement Manager leads in the supervision and implementation of our multifaceted corporate partnerships to achieve excellence in mentoring, career exposure, and outreach in the community.

Requirements

  • A master’s degree & 1 year of paid experience working in business development and/or volunteer management; OR
  • A bachelor’s degree & 2 years of paid experience working in business development and/or volunteer management; OR
  • At least 1 year of supervision/management experience.
  • Have expert computer skills, file management, and light design experience
  • Be a unicorn who has a heart for positively impacting the lives of our students
  • Be available to work flexible hours to meet the program's needs
  • A valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend training and meetings.
  • Be able to travel to training/meetings upon request of the program director.
  • Submit to and pass a Level 2 background check.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors program and volunteer compliance with all company policies and procedures and all regulatory standards.
  • Supervises, trains, and oversees the performance management of all volunteers. Leads in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding volunteers.
  • Develops educational and training materials, and presents educational materials on various aspects of the program.
  • Represents Path to College in the community by leading mentor recruitment sessions and community engagement events to recruit and onboard volunteers and work with community partners.
  • Ensures the development and implementation of volunteer program plans and activities.
  • Adheres to data collection methods to report and monitor program activities, and analyzes data to determine if the activities provided are meeting program goals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
