Job Description Summary EVP of HR is responsible for establishing and managing the company’s HR plans, developing and overseeing policies, ensuring legal compliance and interfacing with leadership across the business units to drive a human resources agenda that aligns with business priorities. Other responsibilities include oversight of compensation and benefits programs, orientation, development and talent acquisition functions of the organization. The EVP of HR will foster a focus on growth, performance and accountability while ensuring risk mitigation. The EVP of HR will serve as the corporate champion for colleague engagement and shaping culture consistent with our core values.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration or related field, and/or a MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Typically requires a minimum 12 years of extensive professional work experience in Human Resources.10+ years of experience in leading HR teams.
  • Problem Solving experience in conflict resolution and effective negotiation skills.
  • Must be a “hands on” leader in bringing process discipline and a focus on achieving tangible goals that is consistent with the high-performance culture of The Bridge Group.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading teams.
  • Proven interpersonal skills and executive presence, with an effective ability to quickly establish credibility, trust, and support within all levels of the organization.
  • Leadership skills - Must convey a strong sense of direction and the ability to motivate and coach others to perform at their highest level.
  • Broad understanding of the technical and functional components of human resources, including talent acquisition, talent management, organizational design/development, succession planning, leadership development, compensation & benefits; compliance; employee communications; training and development and employee relations.
  • Interpersonal Skills – Must be able to effectively interact with people of diverse backgrounds, cultures and personalities. Must be effective at promoting collaborative cross-functional working relationships.
  • Ability to partner effectively with Executives and functional leaders aligning with the company’s strategic direction. Strong collaboration and influencing ability to work alongside multiple executive team members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HR initiatives that drive business goals and accelerate business results. Translate strategic and tactical business plans into practical and effective human resources practices.
  • Develop & report on KPIs for the HR function aligned to established objectives. Analyze, interpret and forecast work trends taking into consideration both budget parameters, areas of needs and concerns (e.g. vacancy rates, aging demographics, etc.); and develop strategies to address these concerns.
  • Leverage the HR Centers of Excellence (i.e. Recruiting, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, HRIS, & Payroll) to recruit, onboard, develop, empower, engage and retain our human capital.
  • In collaboration with the entire HR team, drive a comprehensive review and mapping of existing HR processes and systems. This will include identifying obstacles that are limiting success and developing best practice solutions to overcome these obstacles.
  • Work with technical team to design, integrate and implement human resource software systems for better efficiency that scales with the growth and vision of the company
  • Design and lead the company Diversity Initiatives.
  • Serve as a strategic business advisor to the Executive Team on key organization and management issues.
  • Provide thought-leadership, coaching and mentorship to leaders and employees.
  • Set performance goals and objectives in collaboration with department leaders, decisions regarding salary advancement/promotion, conducting annual performance reviews, interviewing and hiring decisions, etc.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of team members, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
