We are seeking a visionary Vice President of Engineering to lead the next generation of Agentforce Marketing platforms. This executive leader will drive the transformation of Marketing Cloud into an AI-first, agentic engagement platform, where intelligent agents orchestrate journeys, generate content, optimize decisions, and proactively engage customers across digital and physical touchpoints. This role owns the engineering strategy, architecture, and execution for large-scale, cloud-native, distributed systems that power global enterprise marketing at Salesforce scale.

Requirements

10+ years of engineering leadership experience, including 5+ years in senior executive roles leading large, complex engineering organizations.
Proven success building and scaling AI-native, cloud-based platforms at enterprise scale.
Deep expertise in distributed systems, including event-driven architectures, real-time data processing, high-availability services, and global multi-region deployments.
Strong technical foundation in LLMs, machine learning systems, search, recommendations, and AI-driven decisioning.
Experience with Marketing Technology, Customer Engagement Platforms, or Data-Intensive SaaS products.
Strategic, systems-level thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution and measurable business value.
Exceptional people leadership, organizational design, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Passion for redefining how businesses connect with customers through Agentforce-powered marketing experiences.

Responsibilities

Lead Agentforce Marketing Engineering: Drive the transformation of Marketing Cloud into an AI-first, agentic engagement platform powered by autonomous agents and real-time intelligence.
Architect AI & Distributed Systems: Design and scale globally distributed, cloud-native systems that deliver real-time personalization, orchestration, and decisioning at enterprise scale.
Build Intelligent Marketing Platforms: Deliver core Agentforce and Marketing Cloud capabilities leveraging LLMs, predictive models, and event-driven architectures.
Partner for Business Impact: Collaborate with Product, Data, UX, and AI teams to translate customer needs into differentiated, scalable marketing solutions.
Inspire and Scale Teams: Lead and grow world-class engineering organizations, fostering innovation, operational excellence, and trusted execution.
