About The Position

This position is for a Warehouse Clerk who is under general supervision. Responsible for locating and preparing avionics equipment for delivery. Other tasks include warehouse inventory and interaction with other company employees and teams. This position is located at the Collins Aerospace Wichita Service Center in Wichita, KS and is required to be onsite. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Works under general supervision to provide satisfactory and quality customer service. Obtains customers' names, addresses, and billing information, product numbers, and specifications of items to be purchased, and enters this information on order forms. Answers basic customer inquiries on product availability, maintenance, and the status of orders. Performs duties related to overall customer service. Prepares avionics equipment for shipment. Performs inventory stocking and cycle counts. Works in tandem with Collins Rental Exchange team to expedite orders and shipments to customers. Provides support to sales team with regard to customer concerns. Serves as customer interface on product status and delivery. Maintains knowledge of Collins Aerospace organization and products to provide the appropriate information and support to customers. Consistently documents customer service needs to identify patterns and maintain quality. Lifts up to 25 lbs. independently.

Requirements

  • Typically requires AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must have warehouse operations experience in an MRO environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience utilizing SAP and Microsoft Office Suite is highly preferred.
