About The Position

The purpose of the Warehouse Lead role is to prepare all in/outbound shipping paperwork, coordinate dock times and railcar staging timing, and support all other functions of the warehouse operations for Blue Polymers; ensuring customer satisfaction through a high level of accuracy. Areas of Responsibility / Tasks Performance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below. Establish safe and efficient daily procedures. Coordinate work instructions for all employees in Shipping & Receiving. Work with visitors and truck drivers to ensure proper sign-in and out procedures are followed. Ensure timely inbound inspection of all bale material. Generate receiving tally list. Prepare bar code labels for all units. Ensure the tagging of inbound material with proper bar code labels. Accurately prepare all necessary paperwork for shipments. Various computer data entry related to inbound and outbound shipments. Maintain material location records by entering data in computer. Must ensure all Shipping & Receiving technicians are following proper safety protocols for securing a truck. Direct the staging of finished goods for shipment. Assist Warehouse Manager with oversight of inventory movements and return to stock processes. Maintain In and Out-bound daily log. Assist in loading and unloading trucks, sampling, tagging and movement of materials to proper location. Oversee UPS shipments and internal delivery of inbound UPS shipments. Personal protective equipment (PPE) procedures must be followed. Uphold the Blue Polymers Code of Conduct standards and be aware of the management policy and objectives. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Maintain company safety, housekeeping and environmental procedures. Other functions as assigned by Warehouse Manager.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to manage time, organize, and set priorities.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
