Warehouse Operations Supervisor
About The Position
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading and optimizing Libra Industries’ inventory strategy, accuracy, material flow, receiving, and shipping to support operational excellence and on-time delivery. This role owns inventory integrity across raw material, WIP, and finished goods. Additionally, the Warehouse Operations Supervisor manages the receiving and shipping functions and execution. The Warehouse Operations Supervisor drives continuous improvement in systems, processes, and team performance. This leader ensures the right material is in the right place at the right time, from receipt of materials to internal distribution of production components to customer shipments — enabling Libra to deliver on our Built to Deliver commitment to customers. This is a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment requiring both operational execution and a tactical mindset.
Requirements
- 5+ years inventory, materials, or supply chain experience in manufacturing
- 2+ years leadership or supervisory experience
- ERP experience (Macola, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong understanding of inventory control best practices
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or complex manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
- Lean / Six Sigma experience
- Experience improving inventory accuracy and processes
- Strong understanding of warehouse management, inventory management, and shipping processes.
Responsibilities
- Own inventory accuracy and integrity across all material locations
- Establish and drive inventory performance KPIs (accuracy, turns, shortages, cycle count effectiveness)
- Lead inventory planning strategies to support production demand and operational efficiency
- Develop and implement scalable inventory control processes and standards
- Oversees all incoming inventory and outgoing finished goods, ensuring accurate, timely, and safe logistics operations
- Supervises daily warehouse activities, including inspecting incoming shipments for quality and quantity, and managing logistics
- Works closely with Production and Supply Chain leadership to ensure receiving and shipping requirements are met
- Serves as the primary liaison with customers’ logistics departments and assigned carriers
- Lead and develop the inventory/stockroom, material handling, receiving, and shipping teams
- Provide clear direction, coaching, and accountability aligned with Libra’s Built to Deliver culture
- Ensure timely and accurate material transactions in ERP system (Macola or equivalent)
- Ensure material availability supports production schedules and customer commitments
- Drive ERP inventory accuracy and transaction discipline
- Lead cycle count program and annual physical inventory process
- Analyze inventory trends and implement corrective actions
- Identify and execute process improvements using Lean and continuous improvement principles
- Implement best practices for material flow, storage, and traceability
- Partner with Supply Chain, Planning, Scheduling, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance to ensure alignment on inventory performance and business needs
- Support audits, compliance requirements, and operational initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ISO, quality, and regulatory standards
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
- Support facility and supply chain initiatives
