About The Position

Responsible for the accurate receipt, storing and delivery of all materials stocked in hospital departments. Responsible for the PAR Level Systems ,use of the  exchange cart program, bar scanning programs, and patient charge program throughout the facility, including the adjustment of stock levels.  Substitutes in the mail room and receiving when requested.

Requirements

• 1 – 2 years warehouse experience preferred
• Basic computer knowledge required
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English required
• High School graduate or GED preferred
• Ability to achieve cognitive, organization and emotional maturity to deal effectively with multiple tasks, stresses, deadlines, difficult situations and/or customers
• Possesses interpersonal/communication skills necessary for effective, non-judgmental, and empathetic patient care and customer relations

Nice To Haves

• Experience with perpetual inventory systems preferred.
• Basic knowledge of medical supplies.
