About The Position

Wrench Group is seeking a dynamic Digital Experience Product Owner to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of our web platforms, focusing primarily on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). In this role, you will own the template and layout strategy across 28 brand sites—ensuring scalable, consistent, and user-centered page experiences. You will drive the roadmap for components, templates, and page layouts, partnering with design and engineering to improve user experience, accessibility, performance, and the AEM authoring experience. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Marketing, or Business).
  • 5+ years of Product Ownership experience with a focus on website technologies, preferably Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Strong understanding of web development, SEO, and performance optimization best practices.
  • Working knowledge of UX fundamentals (information architecture, accessibility/WCAG concepts, responsive design) and experience collaborating with design teams on design systems and layout patterns.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present ideas effectively.
  • Hands-on experience with AEM template frameworks (e.g., editable templates, style/experience policies) and managing a scalable template/component library.
  • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) as they relate to AEM.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or similar MarTech tools is a plus.
  • Adobe certification in AEM or related Adobe products.
  • Experience with personalization strategies and A/B testing using Adobe Target.

Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership: Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for web platforms, with a strong focus on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including governance of templates, components, and page layout standards.
  • Roadmap Development: Define the product roadmap, prioritizing features based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Epics and Development Guidance: Write clear, actionable JIRA Epics to guide development teams in creating web components and templates.
  • Template & Layout Ownership: Own the template and layout library (page templates, editable templates, style/experience policies), defining when to create, evolve, or retire patterns to balance speed, quality, and brand needs.
  • User Experience (UX) Stewardship: Partner with UX/UI and Content teams to define experience requirements, validate designs in production, and improve usability through feedback, analytics insights, and iterative testing (e.g., A/B tests where appropriate).
  • Layout Quality & Consistency: Ensure responsive behavior, spacing/typography standards, and design-system alignment across templates and components, driving cross-brand consistency while supporting necessary variation.
  • Authoring Experience & Enablement: Improve the AEM authoring experience by defining intuitive component behaviors, template guardrails, and documentation/training that helps marketers publish efficiently and correctly.
  • Performance Optimization: Lead the migration and optimization of web content to ensure best practices and high-performing web experiences.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, IT, and design teams to implement personalization and dynamic content strategies using AEM’s capabilities.
  • Integration Oversight: Ensure seamless integration of AEM with other Adobe products, including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Campaign.
  • Data-Driven Improvements: Analyze website performance using analytics tools and identify opportunities for continuous improvement based on user data and feedback.
