About The Position

The Weigh and Dispense Associate III is primarily responsible for the preparation and kitting of consumable and raw materials for cGMP process execution in Manufacturing. This role involves interaction with Quality, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Supply Planning, and Asset Planning to ensure successful operations. Responsibilities include weighing and dispensing materials, delivering goods to manufacturing, and handling return reconciliation when necessary. The Associate is required to work standard business hours, with potential for on-call duties and emergency response to maintain operational success.   • High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of relevant manufacturing environment experience OR
  • Associate degree with 2+ years of relevant manufacturing environment experience OR
  • BA/BS degree with 0-2 years of relevant manufacturing environment experience OR
  • Equivalent military training/ experience

  • Bioworks or BTEC Capstone cGMP coursework preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintains cGMP compliance, upholds ethical responsibilities in manufacturing, and exemplifies honesty and integrity at all times.
  • Maintains cGDP compliance and adheres to ALCOA principles.
  • Maintains a safe and welcoming work environment, employing the 5S strategy to ensure tidiness and audit readiness.
  • Ensures the safe and efficient use of company resources, including the operation of powered industrial vehicles, to maintain workplace safety.
  • Executes and properly documents weigh and dispense processing steps in associated logbook and paper record.
  • Acts as an SME for the execution of Management planned weigh and dispense activities including transport and tech transfer to/from Manufacturing and Warehouse.
  • Records but also regularly evaluates the execution of goods issuance, goods receipt, and transfer in ERP solutions including SAP and PASX (MES) to ensure activities are fully complete.
  • Attends advanced training to enhance proficiency in all supply chain and manufacturing-related activities, continuously improving skill, knowledge, and leadership propensity.
  • Leads department GEMBA and safety walks.
  • Operates general production equipment, including flow hood, floor scale, and analytical scale. Regularly evaluates general production equipment to ensure calibration compliance is maintained.
  • Performs daily cleaning and sanitization of responsible areas. Regularly evaluates cleaning and sanitization activities to ensure adequate supply.
  • Performs cycle counting and reconciliation activities in responsible areas to ensure and maintain accurate physical and system inventory. Resolves cycle count and inventory discrepancies with a proactive approach, identifying root cause and aiding to implement corrective action.
  • Collaborates as needed with intercompany departments including Quality, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Supply Planning, and Asset Planning.
  • Collaborates with leadership to improve processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned. Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to manage additional responsibility with expertise.
