About The Position

FLSA STATUS Exempt QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business or related field EXPERIENCE None LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS Preferred EPIC - Certification (EPIC) if EPIC is within role or team assignment SKILLS AND ABILITIES Demonstrates the skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job, determined through on-going skills, competency assessments, and performance evaluations Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language necessary to perform the essential functions of this job, especially with regard to activities impacting patient or employee safety or security Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a customer service focus and application of positive language principles General knowledge of a variety of technologies including Microsoft OS and Microsoft applications Strong listening, communications and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PEOPLE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Supports IT team and customers through participation on assigned projects and contributes to timely completion of project deliverables. Maintains positive working relationships with IT stakeholders, hospital staff and vendors as appropriate. SERVICE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Participates in problem solving and considers timeliness, effectiveness and practicality in addressing department and client needs. Proactively seeks out assignments and learning opportunities within assigned department or on teams that cross departments. QUALITY/SAFETY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Contributes to development of effective business decisions through clear, concise communication and reporting using data to support conclusions. Provides input and recommendations for process improvements and customer service approaches. FINANCE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Seeks out opportunities to increase efficiency and productivity for self and department. Supports team goals and metric through efficient, timely issue resolution of assignments. GROWTH/INNOVATION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Develops a foundational knowledge across IT functions and seeks opportunities to strengthen skill set. Applies knowledge gained from educational background and project assignments to strengthen skill set. Proactively manages own professional development. Completes Individual Development Plan (IDP). Requirements
