About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking X-Ray Technician for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience (entry-level candidates welcome)
- Strong understanding of radiographic procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and patient care
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
- New York State License (L.R.T) – Required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) – Required
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and position patients for radiological procedures
- Ensure patient comfort and reduce anxiety during imaging
- Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Operate and adjust radiologic equipment as required
- Review and evaluate radiographic images for quality
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Assist in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Manage inventory and ensure availability of radiology supplies
- Adhere to infection control and safety regulations
- Participate in continuous education and training programs
- Collaborate with team members to support department goals
