About The Position

Requirements

New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T)
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
High attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
0–2 years of experience (new graduates are encouraged to apply)

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort
Position patients and operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients and staff
Maintain image quality by adhering to established procedures and making necessary adjustments
Document patient information and imaging procedures accurately in records
Perform routine equipment checks and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed
Manage radiology supplies and maintain inventory levels
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
Participate in continuing education and maintain required certifications
Collaborate with healthcare team members to support patient care
Complete age-specific competency requirements and other assigned duties
