About The Position

Beep, Beep! Acac is now hiring for a Bus Driver! This position involves safely transporting children to/from their local schools to acac clubs and related events! Follow and enforce safety rules as children board and exit buses Promote the safety and security of children at all times Enforce all policies and communicate using a style that builds relationships and promotes teamwork Monitor children during trips and ensure continued adherence to safety rules; be prepared to communicate and/or enforce safety rules as needed Monitor the condition of the vehicle’s tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel before each trip; report any potential defects or needs to supervisor Perform routine operator care to include: sweeping the interior, checking equipment and reporting defects, presenting buses for regularly scheduled maintenance Report accidents immediately to the supervisor Participate in random drug/alcohol testing Maintain current and valid CDL documentation as well as documentation as it relates to US-DOT regulations Requirements Physical demands Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, crawl and climb to inspect on and under a bus Candidates shall not have any impairment of the use of a foot, leg, hand, finger, or an arm and no structural defects or limitation likely to interfere with the ability to control and safely operate a bus Must be able to work professionally and calmly in an environment which may have heightened noise and/or stress Must have ability and willingness to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays Required competencies, education, and experience High School Diploma or GED preferred Must hold a current CDL license with Air Break and Passenger endorsements Must be able to provide necessary documentation as it relates to US-DOT regulations (driving records, medical certification, etc.) Prior experience driving a school bus highly preferred Prior experience with youth programming and/or summer camp programs highly desired Must be willing to participate in random drug/alcohol testing Must be willing to participate and successfully pass required background checks Must have excellent communication skills to work positively with children of different ages Must be at least 18 years old Company Expectations Read, sign, and abide by the policies included in the Team Member Handbook Park in team member-designated areas Club cleanliness is an all-team responsibility; assist whenever necessary in any area of the club to keep the club neat and clean Assist with Service Days Assist with acac programs, special events, or activities outside your department Promptly return messages Exhibit a positive attitude at all times Deliver five-star service to members and guests with friendliness, direct eye contact, and a pleasant demeanor at all times Affirmative Action/EEO statement acac is an equal opportunity employer that recruits and hires qualified candidates without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, disability, or veteran status. Requirements

Responsibilities
