About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting and Human Resources Administrator to join a well-established family-owned company. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity where you will play a crucial role in supporting payroll and financial processes, as well as human resources administration.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll and financial data.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with payroll and employee information.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel at an intermediate level.
  • 2–5 years of experience in administrative, accounting support, or payroll support roles.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with accounting systems such as Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP is preferred.
  • Experience with payroll systems like ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
  • Coursework or certification in accounting, bookkeeping, business administration, or HR is preferred.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Process accounting transactions and manage human resources administration tasks.
  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics and ADP Workforce Now for efficient data management.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure thorough reconciliation.
  • Foster positive employee relations through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Follow established procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and basic reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
