You will be busy, IT can be stressful, but what job isn't? The Accounting Specialist handles day-to-day accounting tasks. They are responsible for accurate and timely entry of data in the accounting software for Method Technologies and will be the go-to person for finance questions. They are also responsible for maintaining all accounts receivable, including receiving payments and following up with clients. Core Accounting & Finance Support Manage day‑to‑day accounting entries with accuracy and consistency Serve as a go‑to resource for internal finance questions Assist leadership with accounting and finance‑related projects as needed Accounts Receivable / Payable Receive and apply client payments Monitor AR aging and follow up on overdue invoices Process vendor invoices and ensure proper documentation Bookkeeping Accurately record credit card transactions Research and resolve discrepancies Financial Reporting Assist with reconciliations and month‑end close Prepare journal entries and account reviews Help improve accounting processes, documentation, and internal controls Payroll & Compliance Support Assist with payroll processing Support onboarding/offboarding paperwork Assist with sales tax reporting and state registrations Manage vendor and independent contractor compliance Why you'll want us to hire you: The people here are amazing! Requirements

  • You live in the Southern California area as this position works in our corporate office in Cypress, CA. We are currently only considering local candidates.
  • You have excellent communication skills.

  • This is a part-time position and is not full-time.
  • You must live in the Southern California area as this position works in our corporate office in Cypress, CA. We are currently only considering local candidates.
  • This is not a remote position. You will be working from our Cypress office.
  • 2+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience is required. We are looking for consistency in your job history as well as qualified experience.
