Cassia, a nonprofit, senior living organization, is hiring an Accounts Receivable Manager to join our growing team! Based at our Edina, MN corporate office, this role offers a strong balance of collaboration and flexibility, with the potential for a hybrid work schedule after 6 months of training, once expectations are met and consistently maintained. As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will oversee billing operations for multiple skilled nursing campuses, support billing rate maintenance, manage vaccine billing and resident trust functions, and lead a team through regular coaching and one-on-one meetings. You’ll partner with internal teams on financial verifications, reconciliations, aging support, and staff training, while ensuring compliance with state and federal long-term care regulations. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and prior leadership experience in long-term care or collections.

Requirements

  • Business school or accounting/finance degree or equivalent courses/experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in long-term care or collections.
  • Must have 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of state and federal long term care regulations.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee billing for multiple campuses.
  • Assist in the maintenance of billing rates across all Skilled Nursing Facilities.
  • Manage vaccine billing and Resident trust functions for all Skilled Nursing Facilities.
  • Hold weekly or monthly one-on-one meetings with direct reports.
  • Assist with financial verifications and vendor related issue resolution.
  • Provide aging support for multiple sites that include Medicare A.
  • Perform revenue and expense reconciliations for designed Care Centers.
  • Assist with training staff on invoice coding across all sites.
  • Participate in internal committees and meetings, including collection meetings with assigned sites.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
